Welcome To My Introduction Page.

At the left you can sign up to my mailing list. The newsletter came with me from my plug in profit site. It is a good newsletter full of good marketing tips and ideas.

I don't send many emails to my list. I am on at least 15 different marketer's list and am constantly getting emails to buy this and buy that. Sometime I may receive 3 emails in one day from the same marketer.

The only reason I don't opt out is because it lets me know what is going on in the Internet Marketing World.

First off, this is not a vanity site. I really do just want to introduce my self.

While working on the Internet you deal with a lot of people without knowing anything about them. So this web site is to let you know something about me.

I am 57 years old, have been married for 34 years and have 2 adult children. I worked in the printing industry for 36 years. I lost my job in March of 2006 due to the plant closing.

I worked in the prepress department. Back when you worked with your hands and it was actually a skilled trade. We had to put pages together using film and typesetters had to set the type for us to shoot with a camera and we had to also shoot photographs to produce negatives.

We had mock ups of what the designer wanted the pages to look like. We then had to create these pages by putting the film together.

A page like this would have taken hours taken a day to put together. Now with computers you can do it in minutes.

When computers came into the equation, it did take away a lot of the skill. But you did still had to understand printing.

That was how I gained my experience with putting pages together and working with graphics on computers.

This really gave me a head start on building web sites. It actually made it quite easy for me. The only problem is that it takes a heck of a lot more than just being able to build a web site to make money on the Internet.

I started on eBay with a highly targeted product. My drop shipper could not even come close to delivery deadlines. So I through in the towel to protect my name.

Tried Affililate Marketing with the wrong products. Started with marketing products, trying to sell to other marketers. Bad idea, this market is to saturated and a hard nut to crack.

Even with me knowing that IM was a hard nut to crack. I got sucked in big time. Spent a lot of money on every great  next best thing. Products were good but still a hard sell.

Private label, Master resell and Resell rights. Could be a good business with the right products and if I knew then what  I know now. I think I will still do some work with this. With a different approach.

MLM, A very hard sell for me. I have a hard time building downlines unless the programs are free.

Safelists and Traffic exchanges, I never have had any luck with these either. In my opinion the people that join these programs are not joining to buy. They are joining to sell, the same as me.

After 6 months of this living hell. Being almost out of money and spending 70 hours per week with nothing to show for it. I had to make a decision.

Do I want to try and start over in the working world at the bottom. Working for someone else or do I want to pay for the training needed to get me going in the right direction on the Internet.

As all Americans know there are not many good jobs to be had. So I figure at my age I would have about 3 options.

1. Driving a Truck.
2. Flipping Hamburgers.
3. Saying Welcome to Wal-Mart.

I certainly am not putting down these jobs. You do what you have to do. I still may end up there.

My other choice was to have somebody point me in the right direction on the Internet. This seems like an easy decision but getting a mentor cost a lot of money. It is even a harder decision when you have no income.

What you are doing is making an investment in yourself. You have to be committed 100% to doing the work and putting in the time.

I went with IMC's Advanced Mentoring Program. I have no regrets. Once you get turned in the right direction it all starts making perfect sense.

They say that 99% of the people fail on the Internet. I don't know about the percentage being correct but I can think of quite a few reasons why:

1. Scammed one to many times.
2. "Put the cart before the horse".
3. Believe the famous quote " Just put it up and it will make you money 24-7".
4. Don't realize that what they are doing is an actual business. To start a business requires planning, research, commitment, money and time.

These are just to name a few.

So many people come to the Internet to start a business. From my experience it seems that most want to do it all for free and have no idea what they are doing. Just the way I did.

Sign up to free programs, run free ads and make a lot of money. I'm not going to say it is impossible because I believe anything is possible. I will just say it is very improbable.

If you know what you are doing and willing to commit to doing the work. I believe you can do pretty well without much expense. But you have to know what you are doing.

Everything I have mentioned above is totally based on my experience with these programs and my opinion. I am not in any way saying that they wouldn't work for you.

My favorite Charity is St Jude's Research Hospital.  I have seen the tremendous pain and suffering this terrible disease causes. I watched it take the lives of 2 of the best people on the face of this earth. My mother when she was only 57 years old and my father at age 72.

I try to help do whatever I can to help the Children defeat this disease. They have not been given the chance to live yet and maybe with our help they will get that chance. So if you can find it in your heart and can afford to help. Please click on the link above and help the Children.
